I’ve just learned that Shanghai Museum will hold a famous painting exhibition and you’re responsible for collecting public suggestions about the best location to hold it. I’m writing this letter to share with you my opinions. As far as I’m concerned, it is more reasonable to hold thepainting exhibition in Shanghai Museum than in community libraries. My reasons are as follows.
On the one hand, it is more convenient for people to reach Shanghai Museum, located in the center of the city. Visitors can go there by subway,by bus and so on. What’s more, Shanghai Museum is much more extensive than community libraries, providing visitors with a more comfortable environmentto appreciate the famous paintings.
On the other hand, Shanghai Museum, a well-known and distinguished museum both at home and abroad, is more professional in holding paintingexhibitions. What’s of great significance is that not only does it provide advanced facilities and high-tech monitors but also offers professional security guards to protect those famous paintings from being damaged or stolen in the process of exhibition.
Consequently, I strongly propose that the painting exhibition is to be held in the Shanghai Museum.

Recently, having been delighted to see the notice that there is a need of our reading festival to make a choice among three creative pictures for advertisement. After a long time comparison, the picture on the bottom right corner earns my favor.
As is clearly depicted in the picture, there sits a foreigner in front of the library who is concentrating on the books, immersing himself into the world of literature and feeling peaceful and satisfied, which turns out to be thought-provoking and enlightening.
Part of the reasons for my choice is that it vividly reveals the significance of reading books to students, which provides you with the power to escape from the hustle and bustle in the metropolis. For instance, whenever you feel puzzled, confused or stressed, you can always refer to books and consequently find peace and satisfactory solutions in them.

News came that our school will organize a shot walking tour to explore Shanghai on 1st May in the afternoon. The route starts from People’s Square, via East NanjingRoad, and ends at the Bund, and then return the same way. This is a greatactivity, while there may be some room for improvement. First,1st May is not the best time. It is a vacation when many people will come to visit the city.
Crowded and noisy, push and squeeze, all of that will prevent the tour from being a great memory. Second, the route does not cover some most glamorous parts of the as it is that the Bund best symbolizes the city’s inclusiveness of eastern and western culture. Lujiazui,one of the economic and financial centers in the world, should definitely onthe route. To conclude, it would be much better, if the plan could avoid the vacation and upgrade the route.

What a pleasant surprise it is to know that our school will hold a Reading Festival! Hearing that the committee need select a picture as the publicity photo, I intend to voice my opinion that I am fond of the one on the left corner.
Actually, the three photos are equally attractive to us students. If we must elect one to publicize, I prefer the one that is composed of books, coffee, musical notes and instrument, which creates the an agreeable and relaxed atmosphere.
