一. Class opening and review
Review “ past tense” and “ future tense” verbs with a game. Write three columns of words on the blackboard and ask for volunteers to match them correctly. As each student makes a match, he or she says “Yesterday IXXXde. Today IXXX. Tomorrow I am going toXX.
Introduce
Add “buy” “teach” and “think” to your “today” column. Ask the students to give you the future tense for each verb and write them under your “tomorrow” column. Then write “taught” “thought” “bought” in a different order than the other two columns, and ask the students to guess how they match with the present-tense verbs. Point out the similarities in spelling “bought” “taught” “thought”
Use the student book
Pause after Number 1 in the student book. Review the story so far. Today Jenny and Li Ming went to the store buy some clothes for Li Ming to the pictures in the student book. Who are they talking to
Note the word “player” in the lesson. A “players” plays something, such as a sport.
Practice
Play “What’s wrong” to practice the new past tense verbs, and other tenses and verbs.
Play “spelling Bee” to practice spelling any vocabulary in this unit.
Tech “Oh, what did you do” in Number 3 of the student book.
Use the activity book
Number 2 in the activity book is a listening exercise. The students listen to each sentence on the audiotape and change it into the past—tense. Here’s how the audiotape goes:

教具、學(xué)具準備：
1、單詞卡片,運動(dòng)服裝,乒乓球,紙幣，課后習題卡(每人一張)。

1、分給學(xué)生不同的球，讓學(xué)生自己說(shuō)出I like to play XXXX. My favourite sport is XXXX./ I like XXXX best.

S: They are runners.
T: Do you like these runners or those runners

(設計意圖：利用已有知識引出新知識，減小教學(xué)的難度，or在以前的教學(xué)中已多次用到，學(xué)生都已掌握，不必再多費時(shí)間，加深學(xué)生對this，that，these，those用法的印象為下面的學(xué)習做鋪墊。)
New Concepts
1、 If I want to play ping-pong，we need some ping-pong balls.Say “need”,please.讓學(xué)生利用need造句。
2、 Do you have any balls Say “any”,please.講清some和any的用法，都跟可數名詞的復數或不可數名詞，如：some/any shorts;some/any soup;some用在肯定句中，any用在否定和問(wèn)句中，舉例說(shuō)明。
3、完成課后習題。
4、聽(tīng)錄音兩至三遍。同時(shí)講解美元和元的區別。如：one dollar，two dollars;one yuan，two yuan.練習一下如何問(wèn)多少錢(qián)How much is it How much are they
5、布置商店的環(huán)境，讓學(xué)生根據課文編短劇，三、四人一組。
6、匯報演出。
(設計意圖：本課是對話(huà)形式的課文教學(xué)，主要是環(huán)境的設置，要讓學(xué)生在實(shí)際的生活環(huán)境中學(xué)習本文，首先要解決課文中的重難點(diǎn)，也就是新單詞和一些主要句式，理清脈絡(luò )。突破了重難點(diǎn)，理清了脈絡(luò )，學(xué)生在表演對話(huà)時(shí)就沒(méi)有很大的困難了。)

(設計意圖：這個(gè)環(huán)節的設置用來(lái)復習服裝的詞匯，同時(shí)復習What’s your favourite XXXX這個(gè)句式，用這些詞匯和句式引出新的服裝詞匯和新句式。)

1、利用復習二中的句式引出What’s your favourite sport學(xué)習單詞sport，
出示單詞卡片，聯(lián)系朗讀，拼讀
并讓學(xué)生模仿回答My favourite sport is ping-pong/badminton.
2、學(xué)生熟悉句式后，再利用實(shí)物和單詞卡片學(xué)習單詞basketball，soccer.
3、帶入句式進(jìn)行練習�？梢允沁B接式練習，也可以小組練習。
4、告訴學(xué)生回答這個(gè)問(wèn)題還可以使用一個(gè)更簡(jiǎn)單的句式I like XXXX best.
5、兩人一組做問(wèn)答練習。
6、讓學(xué)生根據已有知識說(shuō)出踢足球，打籃球都用play.
(設計意圖：利用已有知識引出新知識，減小教學(xué)的難度，同時(shí)可以放手讓學(xué)生自己說(shuō)出新句式，教師加以指導就可以了，通過(guò)練習鞏固新知。)
7、 If you want to play basketball, what do you wear學(xué)習服裝詞匯I wear shorts，T-shirt.并引出runners,出示單詞卡片，拼讀單詞，并讓學(xué)生練習用這些詞說(shuō)一個(gè)句子。
8、兩人一組練習這組句式。
9、聽(tīng)錄音兩遍，注意any和some,either和too的讀音和用法。
10、完成課后習題并兩人一組自編對話(huà)。
11、利用實(shí)物匯報演出。
(設計意圖：學(xué)習第二部分內容時(shí),要把either和too的用法提一下, any和some的用法留到第二課去解決。編對話(huà)的內容可根據完成習題的內容進(jìn)行，并利用實(shí)物表演出來(lái)，運用于實(shí)際生活中。)
