　　“七選五”是近幾年高考英語(yǔ)中出現的新題。題型模式：給出一篇缺少五個(gè)句子對應七個(gè)選項的的文章，要求考生根據文章的結構、信息、內容、特點(diǎn)等，選出正確的句子，填入空白處。此題主要考查考生對文章的整體內容和結構以及上下文邏輯意義的理解、掌握和運用。選項的特點(diǎn)大致是：

　　1、主旨概括句（文章的主題思想）；

　　2、過(guò)渡性句子（承上啟下，巧妙過(guò)度）；

　　3、注釋性句子（注解和詮釋?zhuān)��?/p>

　　4、總結性句子（總結提升，得出結論）等。因為題型新，所以，當考生們面對這種題型時(shí)，經(jīng)常模棱兩可，不知所措，出錯率高。針對這一題型，我總結得出一些結論：

　　第一步，通讀全文，把握要義。

　　第二步，分段閱讀，找準關(guān)鍵。

　　第三步，解讀選項，心中有數。

　　第四步，相信自己，大膽選擇。理清句際間意義的關(guān)系，排除干擾選項，根據關(guān)鍵詞做出判斷。

　　第五步，研究多余選項，排除迷惑選項，確定你的選擇。

　　分析與再現：通讀全文后，我們會(huì )得出文章的主要意思：加拿大幾乎是每個(gè)家庭都養貓、狗、馬等作為寵物，那里的人們對待寵物就像對待朋友一樣。他們喂養寵物，喜愛(ài)寵物，保護寵物。寵物給他們（尤其是老人）帶來(lái)快樂(lè )，排解孤獨。從“Before they keep them at their houses，they take them to animal hospitals to give them needles so that they won’t carry disease（疾�。�.”這句，我們就會(huì )清楚地發(fā)現：加拿大人對待寵物就像對待人（朋友）一樣。因此得出“1_________”的恰當選項為D。根據 “They have special animal food stores，though they can get animal food in almost every store.”我們可以看出，這是與動(dòng)物（寵物）的食物有關(guān)的信息。而下句“When you visit people’s homes，they would be very glad to show you their pets and they are very proud of them.”一直到結束，就與寵物的食物無(wú)關(guān)了。而且，給出的七個(gè)選項都與緊接著(zhù)的“visit people’s homes”聯(lián)系不大了，因此，我們有理由堅信：“2._________”會(huì )是個(gè)再次涉及動(dòng)物（寵物）食物信息的句子，所以選項應該是F。從“All kinds of birds are welcomed to come and have a good meal.”我們知道，所有鳥(niǎo)兒都會(huì )被歡迎來(lái)家里吃大餐，這樣，我們可以發(fā)揮想象：鳥(niǎo)兒們就可以進(jìn)進(jìn)出出，來(lái)去自由。于是，得到“3._________”的.恰當選項為B。細讀“Nobody is allowed to kill any animals in Canada.4._________ If you killed an animal，you would be punished（處罰）.If an animal happened to get run over by a car，people would be very sad about it.”這幾句，我們可以得出這樣的啟示：加拿大不允許任何人獵殺任何動(dòng)物。不但這樣，他們還可能會(huì )以某種法規制度來(lái)約束和懲罰那些偷獵者。所以“4._________”處應該是選G。

　　最后，讀完“One of them might be：Their family tie is not as close as ours.When children grow up，they leave their parents and start their own career（生涯）.Then the seniors（老人）will feel lonely.But pets can solve this problem.They can be good friends and never leave them alone.”我們得到在這些信息：加拿大的家庭成員之間的關(guān)系不如我們的親近。孩子長(cháng)大后都獨立自主去了，留在家里的老人們就會(huì )孤獨寂寞，而喂養寵物則可以解決這一問(wèn)題。這，或許就是加拿大人喜歡動(dòng)物的原因之一；再由“One of them might be：”的暗示，我們可以大膽推測C項為“5._________”最佳的答案。
