定句型,連詞成句
這個(gè)環(huán)節是成文的關(guān)鍵,一定要注意做到:
。1)選用比較有把握的詞匯,用恰當的句型寫(xiě)出確切反映內容要求的句子。在熟悉的基礎上,鼓勵多用高級詞匯和結構復雜的復雜句。如表達“為了……”時(shí),可用inorder to do 或 so as todo.也可用sothat引導目的狀語(yǔ)從句。
。2)寫(xiě)出的句子要達意,完整,語(yǔ)法正確,合乎習慣,特別是句式、謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞形式要有根有據。
。3)表達限定的內容有困難時(shí),就要想到“AllroadsleadtoRome.”這句話(huà),用變通的方法,以達到“曲徑通幽”。如要譯“他表哥外強中干”這樣一句話(huà),表達起來(lái)似乎很難,但我們完全可以通過(guò)學(xué)過(guò)的東西將這句話(huà)明白貼切地表達出來(lái):Hiscousinlooks strong but in fact,he is rather weak.
。4)盡量避免使用漢語(yǔ)式的英語(yǔ)。例如要表達“她睡得很遲”,不可寫(xiě)成:Shesleptvery late.應該寫(xiě)成:Shewent tobed verylate.因為“sleeplate”表示“睡懶覺(jué)”。又如要表達“他一點(diǎn)都不擔心他的英語(yǔ)”,不可寫(xiě)成:Heisnot a little worried abouthisEnglish.實(shí)際上意思完全相反,表達成“他非常擔心他的英語(yǔ)”了。應該是:Heisnot a bit worried about his English. 或:He isnotworried about his English at all.
連詞成句,添減相宜
單句寫(xiě)出后,根據短文的內容要求,確定先寫(xiě)什么,后寫(xiě)什么,按照表述內容的情節發(fā)展和實(shí)際需要,重新排列組合已寫(xiě)成的句子,劃分必要的段落,一般分成三段。
即:文章的開(kāi)頭(Introduction)、文章的.主體(Mainbody)和文章的結尾(Conclusion).這樣寫(xiě)成文章的初稿。在連詞成句的過(guò)程中,還要注意以下幾點(diǎn):
。1)句子或段落間的連接不僅僅是個(gè)語(yǔ)言問(wèn)題,也是個(gè)邏輯思維方面的問(wèn)題,這兩者是不能分開(kāi)的。能注意到這一點(diǎn),你的文章就能達到條理清楚、層次分明的境界。
。2)為了使句子或段落語(yǔ)義連貫,表達合理準確,可以適當加入一些連接詞語(yǔ)。如表達轉折可用but,however,otherwise等,表達遞進(jìn)可用and,also,besides,Whatsmore等,表達因果so,therefore,asaresult等,表達對比可用atthesametime,meanwhile,while等,表達讓步可用though,although,evenif等。有時(shí)還需要加入一些必要的過(guò)渡句子以達到承上啟下的效果。
。3)仔細推敲在文章的哪些地方可用復雜句。切忌生搬硬套,給人一種為了用復雜句而用復雜句的感覺(jué)。要用得自然、得體。要順應行文的需要,與整個(gè)文章渾然一體。
盡量使用我們熟悉的賓語(yǔ)從句、狀語(yǔ)從句和定語(yǔ)從句。
檢查,修改,定稿,謄寫(xiě)
檢查修改是進(jìn)一步減少疏漏提高質(zhì)量的最后程序,這時(shí)要對照題目要求,認真檢查以下幾點(diǎn):
。1)內容有無(wú)遺漏或誤詞,最好一一對應檢查。
。2)體裁格式對不對。
。3)句子是否有語(yǔ)法結構錯誤,特別要檢查句子中的冠詞、代詞、名詞復數、動(dòng)詞的時(shí)態(tài)、語(yǔ)態(tài)、主謂一致等方面是否有錯誤。
。4)句子是否合乎英語(yǔ)表達習慣,是否達意。
