　　Poor hungry white moths

　　That eat my love’s clothing,

　　Who says very soon

　　Ye’ll leave her with nothing,

　　Here under the moon

　　I make bold to persuade ye,

　　Ye may eat all her clothes

　　So ye leave me milady,

　　Poor hungry white moths.

　　啃起我愛(ài)人的衣裳;

　　她不禁發(fā)起牢騷：

　　“我的衣服很快就要吃光�！�

　　月夜里我鼓起勇氣,

　　勸說(shuō)蛀蟲(chóng)們放開(kāi)食量：

　　你們可以吃掉她所有的衣服,

　　給我留下一個(gè)最時(shí)髦的女郎。

　　饑餓的白色可憐蛀蟲(chóng),

　　全體努力加餐不忘!
