The Old Man and the Sea is one of Hemingway's most enduring works and may very well become one of the true classics of this generation. It played a great part in his winning the Pulizer Prize in 1953 and the 1954 Novel Prize for Literature and confirmed his power and presence in the literary world. Hemingway is also one of my favorite writers. Besides The Old Man And the Sea, I have read some of his other works, such as The Sun Also Rises, A Farewell to Arms and The Snow of Kilimanijaro. But The Old Man and the Sea is the one that left the deepest impression on me.
I first read this book when I was in my fifteens. And now I remember it just as well as if I had read it yesterday.

On summer vacation of this year, I studied in novel " old man and sea " of Hemingway , famous writer of U.S.A. ,. I admire the old fisherman's will in the novel very much, he lets me understand that a person must have unremitting spirit, could succeed . What the novel is described is an old fisherman almost the sixty years old, when go to sea and fish alone once, have angled to a big fish, but can not draw. After tough fisherman and fish have socialized for a few days, just find this is a big Malin's fish which exceeds several times of one's own fishing boat, though know perfectly well that it is very difficult to win , does not give up yet. Because big Malin fish fishlike smell of wound attract odd herds of shark vie for the food again later, but the old man is still unwilling to give up like this, stress the tight encirclement finally , take the large fish back to fishing port , let other fishmen admire it endlessly. 今年暑假，我在美國著(zhù)名作家海明威的小說(shuō)《老人與�！分袑W(xué)習，。我很佩服小說(shuō)中的老漁夫的意志，他讓我明白了一個(gè)人必須有堅持不懈的精神，才能成功。小說(shuō)所描述的是一個(gè)幾乎六十歲的老漁夫，一次出海和釣魚(yú)時(shí)，有一對大魚(yú)，但不能畫(huà)。經(jīng)過(guò)艱苦的漁民和魚(yú)類(lèi)社會(huì )化了幾天，才發(fā)現這是一個(gè)大瑪琳的魚(yú)超過(guò)幾次自己的漁船，雖然明知這是很難贏(yíng)得，不放棄了。因為大瑪琳魚(yú)傷口上的魚(yú)腥味引來(lái)了幾群鯊魚(yú)爭奪食物以后再，但老人仍不愿就這樣放棄，最終突出重圍，將大魚(yú)帶回了漁港，讓其他漁夫佩服不已。老漁夫認為，當我讀到：“這里離海岸實(shí)在是太近了，也許在更遠的地方會(huì )有更大的魚(yú)時(shí)，......”十分佩服這位老漁夫，因為他已經(jīng)打到了一些魚(yú)在這一刻，我，但是他不滿(mǎn)意現有的事態(tài)，而是向著(zhù)更大的目標前進(jìn)。再次見(jiàn)到我們，在平凡的時(shí)候遇到一些小困難，我們都在抱怨。我們是祖國的未來(lái)，應該像這個(gè)老人一樣雄心勃勃，去追求更好，更大的目標。當我讀到“大瑪琳魚(yú)是它把小漁船游動(dòng)，將纜繩纏繞到了桅桿的快速開(kāi)始，老人右手高舉著(zhù)鋼叉，跳出來(lái)，讓它在盡最上面的水，一聲哀鳴結束了大魚(yú)的生命，它靜靜地浮在水面上......”時(shí)，我的心也像一塊大石頭落了。我佩服那種老人的恐懼，堅持不懈的精神，雖然知道對手的實(shí)力很強，但他根本沒(méi)有退縮，遇到困難。正因為有這種精神，老漁夫才獲得了生死之爭的勝利。我們在生活中也要學(xué)習老漁夫的精神，做事不怕困難，才能取得成功。讀大血腥味的一個(gè)鯊魚(yú)進(jìn)攻的味道，爭先恐后地游來(lái)?yè)屖�，老人的左手正好在抽筋，他只能使用右手，可以用�?lái)攻擊的武器保護自己用棍子，劍魚(yú)，抓住一切口，并趕走了這群鯊魚(yú)最后。但大魚(yú)的肉已經(jīng)被吃了一大半，但老人批評自己的左手“當工作的時(shí)候休息”的幽默，我被老人的樂(lè )觀(guān)精神壓抑的太。在生活中，有些損失是不可避免的，我們應該對待樂(lè )觀(guān)的態(tài)度，不必擔心小的利益或損失。最后，小說(shuō)看到一個(gè)十幾歲的老漁夫有18尺長(cháng)的大長(cháng)瑪琳的魚(yú)在寬容中，描述了這條魚(yú)的巨大又一次，證明老漁夫克服的困難比平常大。老漁夫的精神，努力奮斗無(wú)所畏懼危險和困難的小說(shuō)歌頌了，我們也應該像他那樣，不能滿(mǎn)足于現狀，應該積極向上，做任何事都要堅持不懈，決不能半途而廢，遇到困難要迎困難。只有這樣，我們才能取得更大的成功和勝利。
