寫(xiě)作是一個(gè)用語(yǔ)言表達思想的實(shí)踐過(guò)程，寫(xiě)一篇文章會(huì )涉及到很多知識，如詞匯、句法等。寫(xiě)作是一種輸出行為。如果沒(méi)有足夠的輸入，要想輸出好的文章是很難的。只有往腦海里輸進(jìn)了大量的詞匯、句型和各種語(yǔ)法知識，才能寫(xiě)出好的文章。因此，閱讀對寫(xiě)作起著(zhù)至關(guān)重要的作用。
在閱讀時(shí)，應該把一些精妙的東西抄錄下來(lái)，如一些好的詞組、句型，并經(jīng)常翻看，把收集到的短語(yǔ)及句型轉化為自己寫(xiě)作時(shí)可用的材料。用學(xué)過(guò)的.短語(yǔ)進(jìn)行造句，并舉一反三，用不同的單詞或句子表達同一思想或同一含義，使寫(xiě)出來(lái)的文章更有風(fēng)采，更加生動(dòng)。
