太陽(yáng)想到了自己對于人類(lèi)的生活起著(zhù)重大的作用，便整天把自己用黑布遮掩著(zhù)。從此，世界一片黑暗。人類(lèi)見(jiàn)到這一情景，恍然大悟，就整天求著(zhù)太陽(yáng)，太陽(yáng)毫不心軟。最后，病危的地球拖著(zhù)重重的身子去懇求母親，太陽(yáng)才放手。
人類(lèi)意識到自己所犯的錯是多么愚蠢，想盡力彌補地球。地球的病情有所好轉，等到地球大病初愈，見(jiàn)到的是一派生機。
