關(guān)于兒童節英語(yǔ)作文 Children's Day

　　Hi, everyone! I am the little translator Joy from Joy English School. Today I present to you, International Children's Day!

　　為了悼念全世界所有在戰爭中死難的兒童，反對虐殺和毒害兒童，保障兒童權利以及改善兒童的生活，國際民主婦女聯(lián)合會(huì )舉行會(huì )議決定以每年的6月1日為國際兒童節。

　　To mourn the deaths of children that were massacred and poisoned during the wars as well as to help protect children’s rights to improve children’s lives; The Women’s International Democratic Federation assembled to name June 1st of each year as the International Children’s Day.

　　此次大會(huì )之后，一方面為了鼓勵兒童，讓兒童感到幸福、快樂(lè )，另一方面也為引起社會(huì )重視與愛(ài)護，各國都先后規定了兒童節，不同國家甚至會(huì )有不同的兒童節日期，慶祝兒童節的習俗和方式有所不同。

　　After the Federation’s first assembly, countries around the world established its own version of Children’s Day. The motivation of Children’s Day is to encourage children to live happy lives and raise social awareness. Children’s Day of countries around the world is held on different dates and the customs incelebration also varies from country to country.

　　新中國成立后，在兒童節這一天，學(xué)校一般會(huì )組織相關(guān)的集體活動(dòng)，并要求學(xué)生正式著(zhù)裝，比如統一穿校服，而家庭慶祝方式多以送玩具或禮物給小朋友，或陪小孩外出吃大餐或游玩。

　　After the establishment of the New China in 1949, schools began to organize group activities on Children’s Day and require students to dress in formal attire. One example of this is to have the children wear school uniforms. Families celebrate Children’s Day by giving toys or presents to children. Often times families will get together for feasts or other family outings.
