Dear teachers and students,
hello everyone!
Today, the theme of my speech is "labor is the most glorious."
Labor creates human beings, wealth and happiness. Yes! Only labor is happy, only labor is happy, only labor is the most glorious. Every bit around us is the crystallization of labor. Architects build a beautiful campus with bricks and tiles; gardeners plant every plant; teachers prepare wonderful lessons for us in the evening; parents are busy early in the morning just to prepare delicious breakfast for us They are not the same person, but they have a glorious name - workers! They make our life colorful!
Students, labor is a traditional virtue of the Chinese nation. There are a group of labor loving people around us. 在19世紀80年代的那個(gè)五月，歐美工人為爭取合法權益反對剝削壓迫舉行大罷工，才誕生了今天的五一勞動(dòng)節。
“北山種了種南山，相助力耕豈有偏？愿得人間皆似我，也應四海少荒田�！边@首詩(shī)寫(xiě)了山區農民的勞動(dòng)生活，他們互相協(xié)作，表現出勤勞勇敢的精神。勞動(dòng)創(chuàng )造了人，創(chuàng )造了美，創(chuàng )造了我們美好的生活。從古至今，中國人就依靠勤勞的雙手創(chuàng )造了輝煌燦爛的華夏文明。勞動(dòng)，給我們留下了彌足珍貴的物質(zhì)精神財富。
我們的父母是勞動(dòng)者，我們的老師是勞動(dòng)者，我們的后勤保潔阿姨也是勞動(dòng)者，正式這些千千萬(wàn)萬(wàn)的勞動(dòng)者揮灑汗水、辛勤勞動(dòng)，建成了今天的萬(wàn)丈高樓、現代化的高速公路、使荒原變成良田。五一假期馬上就要來(lái)臨，希望同學(xué)們在這美好節日里享受美好春光和幸福生活的時(shí)候，不要忘了要感謝全社會(huì )給廣大的勞動(dòng)者，祝他們節日快樂(lè )！
可是，在我們的同學(xué)中仍然存在著(zhù)厭惡勞動(dòng)的錯誤思想；我們的'學(xué)習是一種勞動(dòng)，做衛生、整理內務(wù)也是勞動(dòng)，如果今天的我們還不能掌握這些基本的能力，我們就不可能成為明天一名合格的勞動(dòng)者。態(tài)度決定習慣。假如我們的勞動(dòng)就像一道大菜的制作，樹(shù)立正確的態(tài)度相當于擁有了一道菜的靈魂作料，而擁有良好的習慣才可以使這道菜烹調的更加美味。
同學(xué)們，那就讓我們每個(gè)人從今天就行動(dòng)起來(lái)吧，讓我們的課堂充滿(mǎn)活力，讓我們的班級更加整潔，讓自己的宿舍更加漂亮。讓我們尊重勞動(dòng)、熱愛(ài)勞動(dòng)，我們的生活會(huì )更加煥發(fā)光彩。

We should sow the south mountain after sowing the north mountain. How can we show our favoritism when help our neighbors sow? There will be less wasteland if everyone does as what I do. This is a poem which described people’s working life in the mountain area. Their collaboration in working shows their diligent and brave spirit. Work creates man, work creates beauty, and it is also work that creates our better life. Since ancient times, the Chinese create our splendid Chinese civilization with their hands. It is work that gives us the precious material and spiritual wealth.
It is the sweat and diligent work of thousands of workers that build the modern buildings and highways and change wastelands into fertile fields.These workers include our parents, our teachers as well as the cleaners in our school. On the coming of Labor Day, please give our sincere wishes to all the workers when we enjoy this lovely spring and our happy life.
However, there are many students who hate working, they don’t
think that learning or tidy up our bedrooms is also a kind of working. If we don’t grasp these little trivial skills, we can’t be an eligible worker in the future. Attitude is everything! If we treat work as making a dish, the proper attitude towards it is the core ingredient of the dish which can make the dish more delicious.
My dear fellow students, let’s take actions from now on to make our classroom full of vitality, keep our classrooms tidy and decorate our dormitories to be more beautiful and comfortable. Let’s learn to respect and love working, I believe our life will be more meaningful for us!
