2.在It's surprising/ strange/ a pity...以及I'm surprised/ sorry...等句型中,當"竟然會(huì )"講.例如：

　�、買(mǎi)t's surprising that you should be so foolish.真令人吃驚,你竟會(huì )如此愚蠢!(現在)

　�、贗t's surprising that you should have failed to pass such an exam.真令人吃驚,這樣的考試你竟然不及格.(已發(fā)生)

　　3.單獨用"should (not) +have+過(guò)去分詞"形式,對已發(fā)生的事表示遺憾或責備,表達"本該或不該"之意.例如：

　�、貶e also learns that he should have cared more about his friends.他還明白了他本應該多關(guān)心朋友.(高一課本上冊P4)

　�、贖e shouldn't have let out the secret.他本不該泄露秘密的.(實(shí)際情況是"他已泄密".)

　　二、用于揣測,表示可能或期望,意思是"照理說(shuō)來(lái)、應該".

　　在語(yǔ)氣上should比must弱,但比may/ might強；shouldn't比

　　can't弱,但強于may/ might not.例如：

　�、買(mǎi) should be home in about ten minutes.照理說(shuō)來(lái),約十分鐘后我就能到家.(高一課本上冊P59)

　�、贖e should be having class now.他現在應該是在上課.

　�、跘s far as I know you shouldn't have any problems there.就我所知,在那里你不會(huì )遇到任何問(wèn)題.

　�、蹵ccording to the schedule,they should have arrived in Shanghai by now/ yesterday.按照計劃,他們現在/昨天應該已經(jīng)到達上海了吧.
