環(huán)衛工人隨處可見(jiàn)，他們簡(jiǎn)陋的穿著(zhù)，讓人一看就覺(jué)得不怎么樣，他們身上布滿(mǎn)灰塵，就像風(fēng)塵仆仆的老人在狂風(fēng)中打掃，他們在馬路中間跑來(lái)跑去，真是沒(méi)事干！有時(shí)還會(huì )影響汽車(chē)行駛。
Sanitation workers can be seen everywhere. Their simple clothes make people feel bad at first sight. They are covered with dust, just like the dusty old man cleaning in the wind. They run around in the middle of the road. They have nothing to do! Sometimes it will affect the driving of the car.
可是我漸漸改變了主意和想法，他們每次在馬路中穿行時(shí)我會(huì )擔心他們被車(chē)撞了，于是我每次都叫爸爸減速，看他們在撿我們隨手扔掉的垃圾，經(jīng)常穿梭在大街小巷、草叢中、河道旁，甚是辛苦。
But I gradually changed my mind and thought. Every time they were walking in the road, I would worry that they were hit by a car. So I asked Dad to slow down every time. They were picking up the garbage we threw away. They often shuttle in the streets, in the grass and beside the river. It was very hard.
環(huán)衛工人在打掃馬路時(shí)總會(huì )拿著(zhù)那破的不像樣的掃把，在大街上掃來(lái)掃去，不放過(guò)一點(diǎn)兒垃圾，還生怕沒(méi)打掃干凈。
When cleaning the road, the sanitation workers always take the shabby and improper brooms and sweep them around the street. They don't let a little rubbish go, for fear that they haven't cleaned them up.
有時(shí)候我們的`口香糖嚼完后隨口吐在地上，他們會(huì )用手一點(diǎn)一點(diǎn)清理，從來(lái)不嫌臟不喊累，直到清理干凈為止。當你隨手扔垃圾的時(shí)候，你有沒(méi)有想過(guò)他們的感受？有沒(méi)有想過(guò)因為你的過(guò)失會(huì )給他們增加多大的工作量，會(huì )影響我們的生存環(huán)境呢？
Sometimes when we chew our gum and spit it on the ground, they will clean it up little by little with their hands. They never feel dirty or tired until it is cleaned up. Do you think about how they feel when you throw litter? Have you ever thought about how much work you will add to them because of your fault, which will affect our living environment?
環(huán)衛工人是個(gè)又苦又累又危險的行業(yè)，他們中大多數都是一些老年人，有時(shí)候為了打掃馬路中間的一頁(yè)紙，他們會(huì )冒著(zhù)生命危險在馬路中間打掃，這是何等危險，有時(shí)候甚至會(huì )發(fā)生車(chē)禍。
Sanitation workers are a hard, tired and dangerous industry. Most of them are old people. Sometimes, in order to clean a piece of paper in the middle of the road, they will risk their lives to clean it in the middle of the road. How dangerous is this? Sometimes there will even be car accidents.
