1.教師:準備錄音機、磁帶、多媒體課件,搜集一些球類(lèi)及球拍的圖片,收集課文中所涉及的或學(xué)生常見(jiàn)的球類(lèi)運動(dòng)器材或有關(guān)的教學(xué)幻燈片或圖片;制作1a部分的插圖和人物對話(huà)的課件,將聽(tīng)力部分的內容插入,通過(guò)詢(xún)問(wèn)對方的所屬以及回答來(lái)引入新課,以及與球類(lèi)有關(guān)的故事。
2.學(xué)生:搜集自己所了解的或曾經(jīng)見(jiàn)過(guò)的球類(lèi)運動(dòng)器材的名稱(chēng),并通過(guò)詢(xún)問(wèn)老師、同學(xué)或上網(wǎng)查詢(xún)的方 式了解有關(guān)球類(lèi)的歷史故事。

Step 1:Greetings and talking
教師鼓勵學(xué)生采用多種方式自由交際,創(chuàng )設濃厚的英語(yǔ)學(xué)習氛圍,給學(xué)生以語(yǔ)言實(shí)踐的機會(huì )。
建議1:師生問(wèn)答:教師可以詢(xún)問(wèn)學(xué)生一些個(gè)人信息。

Step 2:Leadin
建議1:利用圖片導入:出示一些球類(lèi)的圖片。然后教師根據圖片向學(xué)生提出問(wèn)題,導入本課要學(xué)習的新詞匯。
For example:
(The teacher shows the picture of a basketball to the class.)
T:What's this in English?
Ss:It's a basketball.
T:How do you spell it?
Ss:BASKETBALL.
The teacher shows the st udents other objects.Teach “tennis ball,pingpong bat,soccer ball,volleyball,baseball,baseball bat” in the same way.
The students ask and answer in pairs with these things.
建議2:教學(xué)一些球類(lèi)運動(dòng)器材名詞,教師拿出一個(gè)足球或出示圖片進(jìn)行演示:

建議3:利用表格導入:教師讓學(xué)生課前先做一個(gè)調查,同學(xué)們分別有些什么球,從而導入本 課 要學(xué)習的語(yǔ)言項目“Do you have a soccer ball?”

T:Before this lesson,I asked you to do a project about filling in the chart because we want to have a ball game.But we don't know what kind of balls you have.Please ask your classmates in the group what balls he/she has.Then write down the information in the chart.

First point to a student in the chart who has a tennis.

Second p oint to another student in the classroom.

Third point to Li Hong in the classroom who has a pingpong ball,but no tennis.

T:Today we are going to learn how to talk about ownership and make suggestions.
Step 3:Present the new words
建議1:學(xué)生看課本1a的圖片,將單詞與圖中物品配對。
The students look at the words in 1a and match the words with the things in the picture.
Ask one student to show the answers and check them.
建議2:教師做出打各種球的姿勢,讓 學(xué)生猜測是哪種球,并學(xué)習表示球的詞匯。
Step 4:Practice the new words
建議1:教師讓學(xué)生聽(tīng)1a部分的錄音,通過(guò)聽(tīng)力訓練操練所學(xué)的新單詞。
具體操作建議:第一遍讓學(xué)生只是聽(tīng),第二遍讓學(xué)生聽(tīng)并跟讀,然后教師讓學(xué)生進(jìn)行操練,先讓學(xué)生齊讀,然后把學(xué)生分成組齊讀,最后讓學(xué)生單個(gè)讀。通過(guò)這種從整體到部分再到個(gè)體的機械操練讓學(xué)生熟練掌握本課所學(xué)詞匯。
建議2:1.教師在黑板上畫(huà)半個(gè)圓,讓學(xué)生猜是什么球?通過(guò)這種方式來(lái)練習運用所學(xué)的球類(lèi)單詞。

2.采用做游戲“吹牛皮”讓學(xué)生練習所學(xué)的新單詞和關(guān)于have的陳述句。

1.兩個(gè)好朋友正在看球賽,他們非常熱愛(ài)體育運動(dòng),然后問(wèn)學(xué)生:想知道他們都有哪些運動(dòng)器材嗎?讓學(xué)生聽(tīng)1b部分錄音并圈出所聽(tīng)到的單詞,并能畫(huà)出相應的圖片。
2.讓學(xué)生跟讀1b的聽(tīng)力材料,然后讓學(xué)生分角色操練1b部分的對話(huà),學(xué)會(huì )運用助動(dòng)詞do進(jìn)行問(wèn)答,可采用師生互動(dòng)帶動(dòng)學(xué)生互動(dòng)的交流方式:

Step 6:Present the new sentences
建議1:利用猜謎游戲呈現本單元核心語(yǔ)言項目“Do you have a soccer ball?”。
教師利用多媒體出示一幅被蓋著(zhù)的球類(lèi)圖片,然后介紹說(shuō):“I have a ball.Can you guess what it is?”可以激發(fā)學(xué)生學(xué)習英語(yǔ)的'興趣。

T:Let's play a guessing game.Look at the picture.This is a ball.I have this ball,but most part of it is covered.We can't see it.What kind of ball is it?Can you guess?

Step 7:Practice the new sentences
1.讓學(xué)生練習1c的對話(huà)。
建議教師先讓學(xué)生齊讀,然后把全班分成兩個(gè)角色來(lái)練習對話(huà),最后讓學(xué)生兩人一組表演對話(huà),這樣由集體到部分的操練,目的是鼓勵學(xué)生人人開(kāi)口,增強他們說(shuō)英語(yǔ)的信心,培養他們學(xué)英語(yǔ)的興趣,也有利于教師檢查學(xué)生對新材料的掌握情況,為下一步的有意義操練和交際性操練作好準備。
2.教師創(chuàng )設情景讓學(xué)生與同伴編寫(xiě)對話(huà),并讓學(xué)生分角色向其他同學(xué)展示他們所編的對話(huà)。
3.教師可在本部分向學(xué)生講解have的一般現在時(shí)的用法及do引導的一般疑問(wèn)句。
Step 8:Task
在練習完1c部分的對話(huà)之后,教師要給學(xué)生出示新的任務(wù)來(lái)進(jìn)一步操練和鞏固句型。
建議1:讓一個(gè)學(xué)生扮演小記者拿著(zhù)麥克風(fēng)詢(xún)問(wèn)其他同學(xué)的體育收藏。

Step 9:Summary
本課我們主要學(xué)習了tennis,ball,pingpong,bat,soccer,soccer ball,volleyball,basketball等與球類(lèi)名稱(chēng)有關(guān)的單詞。重點(diǎn)學(xué)習了“Do you have a soccer ball?”和“I have a baseball.”這兩個(gè)句型。在下節課的學(xué)習中我們會(huì )繼續使用這兩個(gè)句型進(jìn)行語(yǔ)言交際。
Step 10:Homework
1.根據1c自編三組對話(huà)。
2.收集你所知道的球類(lèi)單詞,向老師、同學(xué)、家長(cháng)詢(xún)問(wèn)或上網(wǎng)查詢(xún)了解各種運動(dòng)的競賽方法,可以制作一張匯總表。
3.讓學(xué)生思考“Does she/he have...?”的用法。
