1．語(yǔ)法：
含有情態(tài)動(dòng)詞的被動(dòng)語(yǔ)態(tài)的構成及用法。
(1)構成形式：情態(tài)動(dòng)詞+be+過(guò)去分詞。
e. g：More trees must be planted every year.
每年必須種更多的樹(shù)。
其疑問(wèn)句與否定句形式變化同一般句型的變化。
e．g：Must trees be planted each year?
Why must trees be planted each year?
The trees mustn’ t be cat down.
2．表計量的句型：
It is…long/wide/high/deep. 長(cháng)/寬/高/深
e．g： The table is three metres long and two metres wide.
3．neither… nor：“既不…，也不…”。
當該詞組作主語(yǔ)時(shí)，謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞與nor后的主語(yǔ)保持一致。
e. g：Neither Tom nor I am going to the park.
湯姆和我都不打算去公園。
與neither… nor… ”相對應的肯定詞語(yǔ)是“both… and…”或“not only…but also…”。
4．stop… from：阻止(某人)做(某事)
We should stop the children from playing with fire.
我們要阻止孩子們玩火。
5．the more, the better：越多越好。
e. g：The harder you work, the more you get.
工作越努力，收獲越多。
注意其結構為：the+比較級，the+比較級，表“越…，越…”
6．so that：“為了，以便于”，相當于in order that.
e．g：We got up early so that we could cauld catch the first bus.
