一、教材分析:本模塊的Unit 2 是《英語(yǔ)》(新標準)系列教材中MODULE 8的第二個(gè)單元,根據新標準的要求, 第二單元是以培養學(xué)生的讀寫(xiě)能力為主,包括詞匯,語(yǔ)法的學(xué)習活動(dòng)。通過(guò)unit 1中談?wù)摗癟ony的生日過(guò)程”的聽(tīng)說(shuō)活動(dòng),過(guò)渡到本單元“如何為他人選擇禮物”的讀寫(xiě)活動(dòng),通過(guò)逐步遞進(jìn),由易到難的教學(xué)以及活動(dòng),培養學(xué)生基礎語(yǔ)言能力,閱讀能力和語(yǔ)言聽(tīng)說(shuō)能力的訓練 , 最終實(shí)現聽(tīng)說(shuō)讀寫(xiě)的綜合學(xué)習, 實(shí)現本模塊的任務(wù)教學(xué)。

二、Teaching aims

Step 1:Lead-in

Enjoy a song “happy birthday to you”.

設計意圖:欣賞并唱生日歌導入話(huà)題,創(chuàng )設良好的語(yǔ)言活動(dòng)氛圍。引起學(xué)生興趣。

Step 2: Warming-up

1. Ask the students if tomorrow is your birthday, what presents do you like ?And why? Talk something about it.

2. Introduce the new words.

4. Read through the list of presents and have the students repeat them

5.Pair work, call back the answers from the whole class.
