教材分析
主要圍繞著(zhù)“ What would you do if you had a million dollars? ”的
問(wèn)與答來(lái)進(jìn)行課堂教學(xué)和語(yǔ)言實(shí)踐，要求學(xué)生初步學(xué)習虛擬條件句的結構用法。
學(xué)生分析
初三學(xué)生有比較豐富的語(yǔ)言積累和知識儲備，他們有較強的求知欲和好奇心，在課堂上他們善于表現自我，樂(lè )于積極思考，敢于發(fā)表自己的觀(guān)點(diǎn)，這些都有利于師生在課堂上能夠進(jìn)行交流。
設計理念
虛擬語(yǔ)氣的構成及使用對初中生來(lái)說(shuō)是一個(gè)難點(diǎn)，但又是交際領(lǐng)域中不可缺少的項目。同時(shí)這部分內容，既可培養學(xué)生的口語(yǔ)交際能力，又可給學(xué)生提供充分發(fā)揮想象力的空間，并在具體活動(dòng)中知道學(xué)生如何應對具體狀況，采取相應的應變措施。培養學(xué)生從容自信的性格。
教學(xué)目標
1. Language goals
（1）掌握虛擬條件句，注意動(dòng)詞的形式
（2）重要短語(yǔ)：buy snacks; buy a big house; put it in a bank; give it to charity; give it to the zoo; give it to medical research
（3）熟練句型：If I had a million dollars, I’d give it to charity.
(4)掌握對話(huà)：
A：What would you do it you had a million dollars?
B：I would give it to medical research.

教學(xué)方法
采用聽(tīng)說(shuō)法，口語(yǔ)法，情景法，交流法，語(yǔ)言翻譯法，等多學(xué)科進(jìn)行教學(xué)。

1. Warming-up
(1) Use a song“If you are happy.”to ask students discuss:“If you are happy, what will you do ?”
(2)用一幅“錢(qián)”的圖片導入，引發(fā)學(xué)生討論：“What will you do if you have one hundred dollars?”
T: What will you do if you have one hundred dollars?
S1: I will buy some beautiful clothes.
S2: I will buy a dictionary.
2. Practice conversations
用比爾蓋茨引出新句型
What would you do if you had a million dollars?
(1) Pairwork
A：What would you do it you had a million dollars?
B：I would give it to charity.（讓學(xué)生討論）
(2) Consolidation]
給出圖片，并練習句型。這個(gè)環(huán)節學(xué)生的答案更加豐富多彩。

Subjunctive Mood (虛擬語(yǔ)氣)
通過(guò)讓學(xué)生找出自己造的if條件句與以前所學(xué)if條件句的不同引出虛擬語(yǔ)氣。（我真的有一百萬(wàn)嗎？沒(méi)有。 所以虛擬語(yǔ)氣表示與事實(shí)相反。主句用would+動(dòng)詞原形，從句用一般過(guò)去時(shí)。而以前的if條件句用“主將從現”）
定義：虛擬語(yǔ)氣用來(lái)表示說(shuō)話(huà)人所說(shuō)的話(huà)不是客觀(guān)存在的事實(shí)，而是一種愿望、可能、猜測、建議、要求或假設等。
