One winter holiday, I went home by train.I was reading an interesting book while a voice said to me: "Would you please let me take your seat for a while? "! raised my head and found an old granny standing beside me. She looked very tired.I quickly stood up and said awkwardly, "Sorry, I didn't notice it."The granny just thanked me again and again with a smile on her face.When I looked around, I saw all the passengers smiling at me for my good deed.
一個(gè)寒假，我坐火車(chē)回家，我在看一本有趣的書(shū)，有一個(gè)聲音對我說(shuō)：“請讓我坐一會(huì )好嗎?”抬起我的頭，發(fā)現一位老奶奶站在我旁邊。她看起來(lái)很累，我很快就站起來(lái)，笨拙地說(shuō)：“對不起，我沒(méi)注意到。”老奶奶一臉的笑容，一次又一次地答謝我。車(chē)上的乘客也都微笑著(zhù)看著(zhù)我。
英語(yǔ)作文2：A Happy Event
After school this afternoon, on my way home I met two American friends who lost their way. They forgot the way to the hotel where they stayed. As I knew where the hotel was, I decided to take them there. On the road, we talked a lot. I told them about the great changes in the city,such as the wider road, the more convenient transportation, the fresher air and so on. I also introduced that now Chinese students needn't spend most of their time on textbooks any more, because they didn't have as much homework as before. In their spare time, they could choose whatover they like to learn. The American friends told me something about the American youth as well.
It was late when I got home, but I was very happy. Because I not only helped American friends, but also realized the importance of learning a foreign language well.

今天下午在放學(xué)回家的路上，我遇見(jiàn)兩個(gè)迷路的美國朋友。他們忘記了去他們住的旅館的路。我知道那家旅館在哪兒，所以決定給他們帶路。在路上，我們談了很多。我介紹了家鄉的巨大變化，比如馬路更寬敞了，交通更方便了，空氣更新鮮了等等。我還介紹說(shuō)現在中國學(xué)生不必再把大部分時(shí)間花在課本上。他們的作業(yè)不像以前那么多了。在空閑時(shí)間里，他們可以選擇任何喜歡的東西來(lái)學(xué)習。美國朋友也告訴了我一些美國年輕人的情況。
雖然我到家晚了，但是我很高興。因為我不僅幫助了美國朋友，而且也認識到學(xué)好外語(yǔ)的重要性。
