我們的生活不能離開(kāi)地球，所以，請善待地球。
現在的空氣不是很新鮮，天也不是那樣湛藍。這是為什么？因為有很多人亂砍濫伐，還污染河流。我們在森林里看不見(jiàn)小動(dòng)物玩耍，也看不見(jiàn)小魚(yú)在水里游泳。

在上世紀90年代中后期，鏡湖的水體呈高富營(yíng)養化狀態(tài)，水質(zhì)嚴重惡化，水變成了黃色。惡化的原因主要有：蕪湖市某醫院通過(guò)地下水道將大量未經(jīng)處理的污物、污水直接排進(jìn)了鏡湖；部分素質(zhì)不高的市民往鏡湖里倒垃圾；最可氣的是鏡湖風(fēng)景區的某些工作人員竟然在鏡湖里洗拖把！慢慢地，鏡湖水變成了黃色，湖面上漂浮著(zhù)許多垃圾，還散發(fā)著(zhù)一股臭味。來(lái)到鏡湖邊的人們都捂著(zhù)鼻子跑開(kāi)了，嘴里還不停地說(shuō)：“真臭！臭死了！”
一九九九年DDD二０００年，蕪湖市人民政府號召全市人民清理鏡湖。首先，工作人員用機器將湖水抽干，再由黨員帶頭和市民們一起挖掉淤泥，最后注入清澈的水。我外公是黨員，他有著(zhù)親身體驗，外公說(shuō)，那次勞動(dòng)很累，但改善了鏡湖的.水質(zhì)，大伙兒都感到很高興。
