一天夜晚，燈光下媽媽在家里邊做玩具，邊看著(zhù)新聞。我在書(shū)房里看書(shū)。突然，媽媽叫著(zhù)：“穎兒，快來(lái)看！這新聞上的工人在和外國人說(shuō)著(zhù)什么？”我跑出來(lái)一看，只見(jiàn)電視上正在播放著(zhù)一群外國人在參觀(guān)一個(gè)玩具公司，一個(gè)外國人正在和一位工人用英語(yǔ)在交談著(zhù)的新聞。
“媽媽?zhuān)覄傞_(kāi)始學(xué)的也聽(tīng)不明白，不過(guò)播音員不是解釋著(zhù)嗎？”我搖搖頭說(shuō)。
“快看，這工人最后說(shuō)的Goodbye（再見(jiàn)）是什么意思？”
“那是再見(jiàn)的意思。您不也初中畢業(yè)嗎？您怎么聽(tīng)不懂英語(yǔ)呢？”
“哎，別提了，那時(shí)我學(xué)習很不認真，成天只知道玩，現在后悔也來(lái)不及了�！眿寢屔钋榈赝送�，“穎兒，你一定要好好學(xué)習呀，不能像媽媽這樣一無(wú)所長(cháng)呀�！�

Although one can no longer see anyone wearing cornel on the day of Chongyang Festival now,many people still have the habit of climbing a mountain to appreciate chrysanthemums and enjoy the beautiful scenery in autumn. In some places of China, people also visit the graves of their ancestors to pay their respects.
