教學(xué)目標:
1.知識目標:學(xué)生能夠運用 “sunny”, “rainy”, “cloudy”,“windy”等形容詞恰當的描述天氣。
能用所學(xué)句型 “What’s the weather like” 進(jìn)行日常對話(huà)。
2.能力目標:鍛煉口語(yǔ)表達能力,思考能力。
3.情感目標:欣賞自然的美與力量,盡可能的保護我們的地球資源。
重點(diǎn)難點(diǎn):
1.句型 “What’s the weather like”的掌握以及后面加月份/地點(diǎn)的用法。
2.根據熟悉的話(huà)題練習口語(yǔ)。
教學(xué)策略:
運用多媒體直觀(guān)教學(xué),通過(guò)欣賞歌曲激發(fā)興趣,爭當小小天氣預報員競賽等以學(xué)生為主體的任務(wù)型活動(dòng)設計,激發(fā)學(xué)生的參與積極性。通過(guò)兩兩對話(huà),師生交流和小組活動(dòng)培養他們的交際能力和合作精神。最后以練習加以鞏固,檢查學(xué)習效果。在教學(xué)過(guò)程中我盡力營(yíng)造輕松和諧的氛圍,讓不同層次的學(xué)生都能夠參與到教學(xué)過(guò)程中來(lái)。
教學(xué)過(guò)程:
(一)課前探究
話(huà)題貼近生活,學(xué)生有生活經(jīng)驗和主觀(guān)體驗。因此知識要點(diǎn)掌握不難,材料可用來(lái)著(zhù)重訓練他們的口語(yǔ)能力。
(二)教學(xué)步驟
Step one: warming-up
Greeting students and sing an English song 《The months》,then play anEnglish game《Memory Game》。
Step Two: lead in
Show the video of weather report to the students, let them answer thequestions and know the title.
Step Three:
Present new words with PPT,and practice dialogues in pairs.
What is the weather like?
It is sunny / rainy / windy / snowy / cloudy…
What is the weather like in月份/地點(diǎn)?
It is sunny / rainy / windy / snowy / cloudy…
More able students are allowed to add contents according to theirabilities, such as “ Do you like sunny weather?” “ Which weather do you like?”etc.
Step Four:
Show a map of China, the weather conditions of different cities will bemarked with different signs. Students first write a short weather report aboutone city by imitating the text, then they will give weather reports in smallgroups. Then some students will be invited to give weather report to the wholeclass.
Step Five:
1) Have the students enjoy another song Weather, Introduce some famoussayings about weather.
2) Divide the students into several groups. They will choose a weather astheir topic and have a hot discussion among them. The teacher will take part ineach group for a few minutes, and inspire them with questions. For example:what’s the weather like?
Step Six:
Sum up and give assignment.
Composition: My favorite weather.

4. play the cassette tape. students listen carefully and follow thesequence of the story. when they listen again, have them say the expressionswith the tape.

2、教師采用聽(tīng)錄音、集體跟讀的方式讓學(xué)生學(xué)習對話(huà),要求模仿語(yǔ)音語(yǔ)調。在教對話(huà)過(guò)程中,教師要引導學(xué)生注意what 和 who 在詞義上的區別。
3、操練與應用
(1)教師讓學(xué)生通過(guò)多種形式朗讀課文。
(2)在學(xué)生基本掌握課文對話(huà)的基礎上,可讓學(xué)生根據對話(huà),分角色進(jìn)行表演。
(3)讓學(xué)生帶著(zhù)家人或朋友的家庭照片,在小組內用Who’s he/she? 和What is he/she ? 相互詢(xún)問(wèn)照片中的人物以及他們各自的職業(yè)。在此對話(huà)基礎上,再讓學(xué)生用This is …和 He’s/she’s a …向全班同學(xué)介紹。
